The Renaissance

The Renaissance is a master planned community of condominiums, luxury apartments, and the attractive Renaissance Towne Centre shopping center. There is a choice of price points, from the attractive Capri Condos to the sumptuous and large Casabella community. You  can walk over to good selection of restaurants, stores, and professional offices. Proximity to La Jolla, major freeways, and University Town Center makes this a great choice in the Golden Triangle. Enjoy lovely greenbelt areas, replete with fountains, streams, and walkways!Each residence has a modest quarterly paid to the Master Community HOA. This upper end complex was built by Davidson in 1991 and features three spacious floorplans, ranging from 2600 to 2900 square feet. The room sizes are generous and the condos are usually very upgraded. These 108 residences are perfect for the buyer who is looking for luxury and a great location. A great many of the condos feature greenbelt views that make for spectacular sunsets. Prices range from the mid-eights for an interior location to $1,200,000 for the most upgraded perimeter unit.
A wonderful  gated community that is a step above.

La Florentine
The La Florentine was built in 1990 by McKellar Development and consists of 98 condos in four different floor plans, the La Rosa, Il Fiore, La Viola and the La Fuscia. The square footage range is from 2183 to 2131 square feet, all on two levels. The grounds are beautiful, and there is a superior pool-spa area. The floor plans are spacious and the room sizes generous. It is a security gate community and is just steps away from the Renaissance Shopping Center. Recent prices have been in the seven hundred thousands.


Avanti is also a complex built by McKeller in 1990 and is priced mid-range for the area.
There are 158 condos, with four floor plans, starting at 1452 square feet for the "Prospero" model and going up to 2053 square feet for the largest "Millenio" plan.
Avanti is located on Calabria Court, right next to the La Florentine and right across from the Renaissance Shopping Center. Prices range from $550,000 to $690,000.


Andria is a smaller complex that sits on the Renaissance Greenbelt and is adjacent to the shopping center.  Steps to the UTC Shopping Mall. There are three floor plans, the Merano, the Celano, and the three bedroom Milazzo. Andria can be accessed from Towne Center, or Renaissance Drive. The premium units front on the greenbelt and are very popular. Prices have ranged from the low to high five hundred thousand range depending on the plan. The year of construction was 1996 for these ninety three units.

The Capri

This complex comprises 188 units, and was built by the Bren Company. It is moderately priced and features five floor plans, from a 1BR 1BA Solaro to the two story 2BR 2.5BA Camerelle townhouse. These condos are on Calabria Court and Shoreline Drive, and enjoy two lovely pool areas.  Due to the amenities and pricing, the Capri is always a good choice for a buyer looking for low maintenace and  and good value. Capri is just steps to shopping and restaurants.


This is the only detached home complex in the Renaissance, for those who like the single family home feel. There are three  floor plans in this security gated community:

This popular complex has only 61 homes and was built in 1996. Toscana is beautifully maintained, is quite upgraded on the interiors, and is always in demand. Prices have been recording in the mid to upper seven hundred thousand range.
